Print and Press Staffing Services
Press operators, bindery and finishing crews, and mailing and fulfillment teams for commercial printers. When a run is spoiled, the material is gone, not just the time.
Print And Press Staffing Designed For Your Workforce Needs
Commercial print combines two pressures that most light industrial work does not carry together. Hard delivery dates a customer has already built a campaign around, and consumable material that is gone the moment something goes wrong. A jam caught late does not cost you an hour. It costs you the stock, the ink, the press time, and the make-ready to start again.
That shapes who succeeds on a press floor. We staff commercial printers, bindery and finishing operations, and mailing and fulfillment houses with workers who watch the machine rather than the counter. Press assistants, bindery operators, finishing crews, machine feeders, hand finishers, and mail room teams.

Industries We Serve

What Print And Press Work Covers
Print is three fairly separate operations under one roof, and a worker who is strong in one is not automatically useful in another.
Press. Press assistants and operators, roll handling, ink and plate support, and make-ready. The most technical work in the building and the most expensive place to be short-staffed, because a press that is down is not producing regardless of how many people are elsewhere in the plant.
Bindery and finishing. Cutting, folding, stitching, perfect binding, die cutting, laminating, collating, and hand finishing. This is where the largest crews sit and where most of our print placements go. The work ranges from running a folder to hand assembling a presentation kit, so the physical and attention demands vary widely across roles that all get called bindery.
Mailing and fulfillment. Inserting, addressing, sorting, poly bagging, kitting, and dispatch. It overlaps with our warehouse and kitting work and is the most seasonal part of print.
Across all three we place machine feeders, catchers, quality checkers, and material handlers keeping stock moving to the floor.
Staffing A Deadline Business Where Material Cannot Be Recovered
Print peaks are unusually sharp and unusually predictable. Catalog cycles, direct mail drops, political mail, yearbook production, and annual report season. A plant can go from a steady crew to needing two full extra shifts inside two weeks, then back down again.
We staff that shape. A core crew sized for the normal week, and a repeatable surge pool for the peaks, drawn where possible from the same workers who staffed your last one. Returning workers matter more in print than in most sectors, because someone who has run your folder before is productive on the first day rather than the fourth, and there are rarely four days available.
The material point is the other half of it. We describe the cost of a mistake to candidates plainly, because a worker who understands that a misfed sheet at speed means a spoiled run works differently around a running machine.
Deadlines also mean nights and weekend shifts, which are standard in this sector.

What You Can Expect From Luxor Staffing
Print is a smaller vertical than warehouse or manufacturing, and we staff it as its own category with its own screening. A press floor does not have the slack to absorb someone learning what a make-ready is.
Bindery And Finishing Crews
Cutting, folding, stitching, binding, die cutting, laminating, and hand finishing. The largest share of our print placements and the crews we know best.
Built For Sharp Seasonal Peaks
Catalog, direct mail, political, and annual report cycles. We build a repeatable surge pool so a peak does not start from zero.
Briefed On What A Mistake Costs
Candidates are told plainly that spoiled material cannot be recovered. Workers who understand what is at stake work differently around a running machine.
Nights And Weekends As Standard
Print deadlines fall outside a single shift pattern. Overnight and weekend coverage is normal work for us.
